Persistence criteria for a chemostat with variable nutrient input and variable washout with delayed response in growth

چکیده
We study a general single-species chemostat model with non-autonomous input and washout, discrete-time delay between consumption of the nutrient growth. The goal this article is to provide sufficient necessary conditions for persistence. persistence criteria obtained here extend previous works done autonomous without delay. Furthermore, in particular case periodic same washout delayed response growth, can be expressed terms average involved functions. remark no we need impose any restrictions on size

Binary Regression With a Misclassified Response Variable in Diabetes Data
Objectives: The categorical data analysis is very important in statistics and medical sciences. When the binary response variable is misclassified, the results of fitting the model will be biased in estimating adjusted odds ratios. The present study aimed to use a method to detect and correct misclassification error in the response variable of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), applying binary ...
متن کاملPlankton-toxin interaction with a variable input nutrient.
A simple model of phytoplankton-zooplankton interaction with a periodic input nutrient is presented. The model is then used to study a nutrient-plankton interaction with a toxic substance that inhibits the growth rate of plankton populations. The effects of the toxin upon the existence, magnitude, and stability of the periodic solutions are discussed. Numerical simulations are also provided to ...
متن کاملGlobal Behaviors of a Chemostat Model with Delayed Nutrient Recycling and Periodically Pulsed Input
The dynamic behaviors in a chemostat model with delayed nutrient recycling and periodically pulsed input are studied. By introducing new analysis technique, the sufficient and necessary conditions on the permanence and extinction of the microorganisms are obtained. Furthermore, by using the Liapunov function method, the sufficient condition on the global attractivity of the model is established...
متن کاملNutrient-plankton interaction with a toxin in a variable input nutrient environment
Phytoplankton are microscopic plants that live in the ocean, sea or lake. Through photosynthesis, phytoplankton are responsible for much of the oxygen present in the Earth’s atmosphere. They convert inorganic materials into new organic compounds by the process of photosynthesis [14]. Hence the stocks of these tiny planktonic algae play a significant role for marine reserves and fishery manageme...
